Are you in desperate need of some self-care time momma?

I want to start this post by saying the only one who can give us true rest and restoration is Jesus.
Know that He always can do a new thing in your life.
Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
Isaiah 43:18-19
Going to the giver of life and rest and peace needs to be our top priority when it comes to a self-care routine. That being said there are actions we can take and exercises we can do to gain more peace and clarity and care for ourselves to fill us up as we pour ourselves out for our children and family.
So today I have a free printable self-care planner for you.
The planner starts with an audit.
Self-Care Audit for Moms
As busy moms the mental and physical load we carry can be so great. We often don’t take the time when feeling down to see what the issue is and what’s causing it. This makes our mental health suffer. The planner walks you through a list of questions to help you know some areas that may need to be fixed in order to feel better. It’s a good idea to check in often during daily life.
It may be basic needs not being met. Not getting enough sleep, poor nutrition, and not drinking enough water can make us feel tired and cranky. And that will leave us feeling like we don’t have enough energy to even get through the day much less focus on self-care activities.

Self-Care Questionaire
Next is the self-care questionnaire. Here you can think about and write down the things that bring you joy, the negative thought patterns you tend to fall into, something you want to learn, what you are grateful for, and more. Doing this evaluation can help you discover new solutions to problems you are having and think of ways to improve your days and weeks.
Accountability Worksheet
Then there is an accountability worksheet. It’s easy to blame things outside of ourselves for any issues we are having. And there are certainly always circumstances that we cannot control. But by accessing how we respond to things and how we can take responsibility for our lives we take our power back.
Accountability hurts, let’s be honest. But by evaluating how we may have contributed to issues we can work to improve them in the future.

Verse Writing And Daily Gratitude
Next, there is a space to write an encouraging quote or Bible verse and do a little gratitude journaling. This can put you in the right frame of mind as you start your self-care journey.
Daily Check-In, Priorities, And Planner
Next are some daily worksheets you can use all the time if desired. You can evaluate how your day is going, set priorities for the day, and plan out the things you want to accomplish. These are great exercises to do in the morning as part of your morning routine. Daily planning is important and can help you create a daily routine that fits in self-care so you can stay refreshed and focused. If you take better care of yourself your family will feel it too.

Extra Pages
There is a gratitude jar you can fill in with things you are feeling thankful for and a log. There is a sheet covering the difference of a fixed mindset versus a growth mindset to give you some examples. We want to work on developing a growth mindset in ourselves and in our children. Our physical health greatly depends on our mental health.
Evaluation and Reflection
There are worksheets to register where we feel we are in each area of our lives. The good news is as we go through these self-care processes regularly we can understand how to improve all the different areas. There is a seasonal bucket list worksheet too. Do you want to go apple picking in the fall? Get a new floral wardrobe for spring? Track those desires. And do those monthly reflections.
Look at the progress you are making and focus on that. Reflection helps us take intentional steps toward our goals and that makes all the difference.

Self-Care Trackers
Then there are self-care trackers, daily planner, morning, and evening. You can track the activity, time, and duration. You can use all three or pick the one that is best for your schedule. Then write down your dreams and do a little brainstorming.
Favorites, Ideal Life, and Goals
Next is a list where you can collect your favorite books, songs, and games. This is great to reference when you are feeling down. You can then focus on your quarterly goals in different areas of your life. If you have never done quarterly planning it is a great way to set yourself up for greater success.
Create Your Calendar, Checklist, and Vision
There is a worksheet for you to create a monthly self-care calendar if you would like to go ahead and plan out your self-care for the month. Make it a priority. If it’s not scheduled it won’t get done. We know how busy mom life can be. There is also a checklist if that is more your style. And a place to write the vision for your life.
There is a worksheet for weekly reflections and yearly goals too! You can track your current self-care practices.
