Feeling your limits lately momma?

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
ISAIAH 55:11
When God’s word goes out it does not return void.
For you and me that means that we have something we can trust in this crazy world. Something we can hold on to. Something true and everlasting and real. Doesn’t that give you hope!
We sometimes begin to doubt God’s promises because we don’t see them being fulfilled when and how we desire them. But, almighty God is not bound by our linear time frame. We can have confidence in Him and His Word without shame. He completes what He starts.
Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:6
He is continuing His work in us and has not given up on us. Will we give up on Him? God is faithful above all things. God’s ways are higher than our ways (verses 8,9). He has ways to accomplish what we ask for far beyond what we could ever dream.
Have you ever had an experience where Father God answered your prayer but in a completely different way than what you were expecting? I know I have. As we pray, let us not limit God by trying to figure out the “how.”
Yes, sometimes His answer to our prayers is no because He has something better in mind or a greater purpose. But, when His word reaches us it will prosper. His Word comes with complete fulfilling power. Unlike our words that are often wish-washy based on how we feel.
Remind God of what He said, of His promises. But, do not let your faith waiver when it does not seem to be happening when and how you expect. Know that you are kneeling before The Limitless King Of The Universe. Let us not limit Him with our limited minds.
It is easier said than done. Keep a record of His faithfulness so you can go back and read the times you see Him come through. We are so quick to forget. Father forgive us.
Let us walk by faith and not by sight knowing that God is doing great and mighty things of which we can not even imagine.
Ponder The Limitlessness of His Power
Ask yourself: Am I limiting God in my prayers by trying to figure out the “When” and “How?” Am I not seeing what he wants to deliver to me, because my faith waivers?
Pray To See The Limitless Power Of God In Your Life
Almighty God,
Please help me to keep the faith no matter what I see because You have said that Your Word does not return to You without accomplishing what it has set to do. I do not need to know how You will accomplish all You have said. Please give me the faith to know it is true. Jeremiah 33:3 says, “Call unto me, and I will answer thee and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”
I claim that promise over my life now Father God. Give me the faith to see that promise through. In Jesus name,
Amen.
